The Best of Seattle: A 3 Day Adventure

Day 1: Urban Charm and Iconic Landmarks
A Morning in Capitol Hill
Our adventure in Seattle began with a visit to our friends in Capitol Hill, one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Known for its high-rise apartments, quirky shops, and lively cafes, Capitol Hill gave us a warm welcome to the Emerald City. We spent the morning catching up and taking a stroll through the dynamic streets, soaking in the energy of this trendy area.

Lunch at Rocco’s Pizza
Next, we headed downtown for lunch at Rocco’s Pizza. This cozy spot served up some of the best slices we’ve ever had, with creative toppings and a relaxed vibe that made it the perfect place to refuel.

Iconic Pike Place Market
No visit to Seattle is complete without stopping by Pike Place Market. We wandered through the bustling stalls, watched the fishmongers tossing salmon, and admired the fresh produce and handmade goods. The famous Public Market Center sign was a must for photos, and the lively atmosphere left us enchanted.
Naturally, we had to check out the original Starbucks. The small and crowded shop was a neat piece of history, but we opted for the Starbucks Reserve nearby, where we could enjoy the coffee in a more spacious and unique setting.

A Stroll in Olympic Sculpture Park
In the afternoon, we took a leisurely stroll through Olympic Sculpture Park. The modern art installations and stunning views of Elliott Bay made for a perfect blend of culture and natural beauty. From the park, we caught a glimpse of the iconic Space Needle, which added to the charm of our day.

Dinner at Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe
We wrapped up our day with a flavorful dinner at Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe. The vibrant dishes transported us straight to the streets of Bangkok, with every bite bursting with authentic Thai spices and flavors. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic first day in Seattle.

Day 2: Exploring Beyond the City
Microsoft HQ in Redmond
We kicked off our second day with a visit to Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond. As tech enthusiasts, we found it fascinating to see where some of the world’s most innovative ideas come to life. The sprawling campus was impressive and worth the visit.

Coffee and Bikes at Good Weather Bicycle & Cafe
We stopped by Good Weather Bicycle & Cafe in Capitol Hill for our second coffee shop in Seattle. This unique spot combined a bike shop with a cozy cafe, offering a welcoming atmosphere where we could reflect on our adventures in Seattle.

Lunch and Dumplings in Downtown Kirkland
Next, we made our way to Downtown Kirkland for lunch and enjoyed some incredible dumplings at Supreme Dumplings. The relaxed vibe of Kirkland’s charming streets made it a delightful place to wander and explore after our meal.

Sunset on Kirkland’s Lakeview
As the day wound down, we found a perfect spot to watch the sunset over Lake Washington. The colors reflected on the water created a serene and unforgettable moment, making it one of the highlights of our trip.

Evening Drinks at Canon
To cap off the night, we headed back into the city to Canon, one of Seattle’s coolest speakeasies. Known for its extensive cocktail menu and intimate vibe, it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some expertly crafted drinks. The atmosphere was a mix of old-school charm and modern sophistication, making it a memorable experience.

Day 3: Nature and Coffee Culture
Dirty Harry’s Peak Trail
We started our final day in Seattle with an early morning hike on Dirty Harry’s Peak Trail. The challenging terrain and breathtaking views were well worth the effort, and it was a fantastic way to experience the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Coffee Break at Fulcrum Coffee
After our hike, we treated ourselves to coffee at Fulcrum Coffee. Known for its expertly crafted brews, this cafe was the perfect place to relax and savor the flavors of Seattle’s coffee culture.

The Fremont Troll
In the afternoon, we visited the quirky and iconic Fremont Troll. Nestled under the Aurora Bridge, this larger-than-life sculpture was a fun and offbeat stop. We couldn’t resist snapping a few photos with this unique piece of public art.

Dinner at Nuna Ramen
After exploring Fremont, we were ready for dinner. We tried out Nuna Ramen, which was conveniently nearby. The warm, flavorful ramen was just as delicious the second time around, and it felt like the perfect way to wrap up our day.
